SALT LAKE CITY - It was not your typical Kyle Lowry night from the very tip.

Lowry, who has been as steady for the past month as anyone in a Raptors uniform was off from the tip.

Something was clearly awry and it turned out it was a wonky right knee.

Lowry left the game some nine minutes into the third quarter and did not return. He had just scored his first points, and what would turn out to be his last points of the evening.

Lowry apparently did not suffer the injury during the game, but very little else was known about the extent of the injury.

The Raps had a nine-point lead when he left and the Jazz quickly got it down to three.

But that resilience that we seem to talk about nightly with this Raptors club was there again and they managed to get the job done with a just-off-the-flu backup in Greivis Vazquez in a 94-79 win.
