CHICAGO - Different night, and yet another different way to win.

The Raptors won for a season high third consecutive game, this time taking an early lead, losing it for the bulk of the two middle frames and then rallying with as focussed and veteran-looking fourth quarter as they’ve had in some time in a 85-79 victory.

Down five after three quarters, the Raptors owned the fourth, using a combination of some timely threes from point guards Kyle Lowry and Greivis Vasquez and some strong interior play from Jonas Valanciunas, not to mention some solid play off the bench from Patrick Patterson to turn around an offence that had been stymied for much of the game by the Tom Thibodeau-coached Bulls.

Valanciunas, in particular, was impressive through the final 12 minutes with a couple of key buckets as the Raptors stretched their own lead to 10 but more importantly a beast under his own basket where he made life miserable for the more experienced Joakim Noah.
