TORONTO - Having failed to take advantage of a mini homestand, the Raptors are once again out on the road hoping to regroup.

The 1-3 record at home this past week and a half has the mood in the room at a season low.

DeMar DeRozan was as angry as many observers and chroniclers of the teams’ exploits can recall following Sunday’s loss to Denver.

Head coach Dwane Casey was none too impressed either and suggested Monday following practice at the University of San Francisco that the team is in a semi-funk.

The prospect of facing three Western Conference teams who happen to be enjoying more success like Golden State, Phoenix and the Lakers over the next week only makes that tougher.

“It’s a daunting trip but that’s what the NBA is about,” Casey said. “It’s a marathon. It’s not a sprint. When you think you’re playing well, you’re really not. When you think you’re really playing bad, you’re probably not as bad as you think you are."
