Raptors head coach Dwane Casey said he wouldn’t call it envy as he looked across the floor at the Chicago Bulls Tuesday night. But there had to some wishful thinking going on.

The Bulls are the kind of tight, defensive unit Casey would like his Raptors to be.

But envious? That might be taking things a bit far.

“You coach what you have,” Casey said. “I’m not envious. I like our group. It’s my job and our staff’s job to get our guys to play on the defensive end at that level. That’s our challenge going into training camp next year.”

On this night Casey got enough of the defence he was looking for and a well-rounded offensive performance from his starters and just enough from his bench for an 101-98 win.
