A lot of very good things have happened to Landry Fields in the past year.
He got engaged to his sweetheart, said sweetheart is now pregnant with the couple’s first child and, of course, he became a very rich young man when Bryan Colangelo signed him to a three-year, $18.725-million contract.
All in all a pretty sweet year.
But one very bad thing also happened to Fields at some point over the past year, perhaps starting as early as 2011, and the Raps forward is still working his way back from it.
Those Raptors fans who have followed his first season in a Toronto uniform are all aware that back in November, with his hand acting like it had a mind of its own, Fields underwent ulnar nerve transposition surgery on his right elbow.
