WASHINGTON - As this Raptors’ season winds down, more and more all the positives to be gleaned seem to be coming from one man.

And as the losses pile up — this one a 109-92 decision to a Washington Wizards team that was without its best big man — Toronto’s youngest big man is the lone salvation in what are becoming more and more a series of meaningless endeavors.

Jonas Valanciunas, for the 11th time in the past 12 games, finished in double digits in scoring with a game-high 18 points and added another big 10 rebounds for his seventh double-double of the year.
