It's time for the Raptors to 'grow up'

In a season that has felt like three or four different years rolled into one, it’s only proper that the Raptors add one more before the schedule plays itself out.

With 22 games remaining and a playoff spot being talked about by only the most overly optimistic, the Raptors head into this final stretch looking to re-establish an efficient and productive offence.

Now that sounds rather strange for a team that has spent most of the season talking about and worrying about the defensive end, but that was before Rudy Gay came along.

And it’s not that the offence has fallen off all together. Gay’s 20-something points a night gives the lineup its first consistent one-two punch (with DeMar DeRozan) in recent memory.

But Gay’s arrival has changed plenty about the way the Raptors go about their business, but no area moreso than where the Raptors scoring comes from and how they go about getting it.
