Another bad loss for Raptors in Cleveland

Dwane Casey might want to go looking for that baseball bat.

Hours before his Raptors laid its second consecutive egg of the week, Casey was asked if he was satisfied his team had got the message about losing focus and looking past opponents as they appeared to do Monday against Washington.

“You can’t hit them in the head with a baseball bat,” Casey said. “If Monday night wasn’t enough of a reminder of what happens when you don’t approach the game (the right way), I don’t know what is.”

He might be rethinking that one after Wednesday’s follow-up in which the Raptors fell 103-92 to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Sure the Raptors started like a team that had learned its lesson as they put the clamp down on the Cavs shooters for the first nine minutes of the game and jumped out to a 14-point lead.
