Dwane Casey trusts Terrence Ross to close out game for Raptors

TORONTO - Finding five men he is comfortable closing out a game with on a consistent basis has been a moving target for Raptors head coach Dwane Casey this season.

Injuries have played a role, obviously leaving Casey to patch together whatever seems to be working on a given night.

And while Casey maintains this will continue to be the way, just recently he has shown at least a tendency to lean toward a particular five in cruch time.

In Miami, Orlando and Saturday against Cleveland at the Air Canada Centre — all three games which came down to either the final shot to produce a winner, or, as was the case in the Miami game, required overtime to decide it — Casey went primarily with Jose Calderon, DeMar DeRozan, Terrence Ross, Alan Anderson and Amir Johnson.

Casey acknowledged the trend but pointed out that nothing is set in stone. He will stray from that five if he feels someone outside that group is going a little better than someone in it.

Yes, new GM made great moves
No, they will still be a terrible team
Unsure what to make of it
