TORONTO - The Los Angeles Lakers may yet get well at someone's expense but it wasn't going to be the Raptors.
At least it wasn't on Sunday.
Playing basically a road game in its own arena with a predominantly pro-Lakers crowd on hand at the Air Canada Centre, the Raptors had a little more to overcome than usual, but they did so on the strength of a near perfect template performance from a point guard by Jose Calderon and easily the best overall 25 minutes of basketball that Landry Fields has delivered since becoming a Raptor.
The two were not mutually exclusive events as the Raptors rolled to a 108-103 win.
