TORONTO - The chase continues.

Toronto Raptors president/general manager Bryan Colangelo has been pursuing Memphis small forward Rudy Gay for years, and Colangelo remains eager to reel in one of the NBA trading block’s biggest fish.

Sources confirmed a report by ESPN’s Marc Stein that Toronto is one of the teams kicking the tires with Memphis about a swap for Gay, who new Grizzlies ownership is gauging value for league-wide.

Memphis has considerable luxury tax concerns and with tons of cash owed long-term to the Marc Gasol, Zach Randolph, Mike Conley Jr. core, is, as expected, considering moving Gay for both talent and cap flexibility.
