Raptors' Johnson sports new haircut
By RYAN WOLSTAT, QMI Agency
TORONTO - His coach hated it, his teammates laughed about it and Amir Johnson said he was just having fun. We’re talking, of course, about Johnson’s rather colourful new haircut, which features a red Raptors claw shaved into the back of his head. “I was thinking about doing something funky. I didn’t know what it (would be),” Johnson said before Friday’s game against Orlando. “I was just sitting at the house and I was just like: ‘Why not get the Raptor logo?’ It’s team spirit right there, you know what I mean?” Johnson said it took an hour and a half to get it done and added that it was the first time he had ever had his hair bleached. His old-school coach didn’t see things quite the same way. “It’s not something I condone. I don’t promote it, my only thing is if you do that, you better be the baddest guy in the paint,” Casey said.
