PHOENIX — Like many in the NBA, DeMar DeRozan saw tape of Blake Griffin’s facial on Marcin Gortat.

As a fellow high flyer, DeRozan appreciates feats that occur above the rim and the challenges of each dunk.

While Suns head coach Alvin Gentry expressed downright amazement, DeRozan was less enthused.

“He did it before,’’ DeRozan said of Blake’s dunk. “It ain’t surprising.”

Earlier in the season, Blake dunked over Timofey Mozgov, at the time a member of the New York Knicks, by soaring over the seven-footer from Russia.

On Monday, Blake exploded over Gortat in a Clippers loss to Phoenix on a play that earned Blake an offensive foul.

“That might be as impressive of a dunk as I have seen in the NBA in 23 years,’’ gushed Gentry. “ I don’t care if it was a charge.

“That might be the best dunk he’s had since he was in the league.”
