TORONTO - Trey Johnson is sticking around for at least 10 more days.

The Raptors re-signed the guard to a second 10-day stipend on Monday.

"We like what (Johnson's) done for us so far," explained head coach Jay Triano.

"He has picked up a lot of what we're doing (so the team doesn't) have to teach somebody (new the plays)."

Johnson said he will feel a little more confident and comfortable now that he is more familiar with the playbook and has been kept around.

"It means that you're doing something right and I just want to continue proving they made the right decision," Johnson said.

"I know I can bring defence, I know I can bring energy."

Johnson has averaged 4.0 points, 1.6 assists and 12.6 minutes in five games, including 10 points in Friday's streak-busting win over Minnesota.
