Thunder at Raptors Tonight, 7 p.m. TSN, Fan 590 MARQUEE MATCHUP DeMar DeRozan vs. Kevin Durant DeRozan has taken a new-found interest in defending and it's paying dividends for the Raptors. He'll have his hands full with Durant, who is averaging 29.7 points a night, second in the NBA to only LeBron James. Durant is also the fourth busiest player in the league, averaging 39.6 minutes a night. DeRozan won't have Durant to handle by himself, however. Antoine Wright and Sonny Weems will both take turns on the third-year pro. SCOUTING REPORT The Thunder is enjoying a rare season of huge strides by NBA standards. Five more wins over its final 16 and it will double its win total, something only 10 teams in the past decade can relate to. The Thunder had won five in a row before the Bobcats rallied from a 19-point deficit to snap the winning streak Wednesday in Charlotte. Since Jan. 29, the Thunder owns a 17-4 record, second best in the Association to the Cleveland Cavaliers ... The Thunder laid a 119-99 pasting on the Raptors on Feb 28. The Raps were without Chris Bosh for that game ... Forward James Harden has missed the past three games with a strained hamstring and will not dress for the Toronto game. DID YOU KNOW The Thunder is the third-best rebounding team in the NBA and has won the battle of the boards in 44 of the 66 games played ... Durant has scored 30 or more points 37 times already. Since Dec. 25, he is averaging 31.2 points a night ... The Thunder is the youngest team in the NBA, averaging 24 years and 338 days ... Durant gets plenty of attention but point guard Russell Westbrook is averaging 16.8 points and 5.12 assists a night while forward Jeff Green scores 14.7 a night and pulls down 6.1 rebounds a game to form an imposing Big Three.
