BOSH MAKES IT

It took him until his second shot of the second quarter, but Chris Bosh reached the 10,000-point mark in just his seventh season in the NBA. Bosh was held scoreless in the first quarter but scored the first two baskets of the second reaching the 10,000-mark on a fast-break layup courtesy of a pretty pass from Hedo Turkoglu. On Jan. 3, Bosh became the Raptors all-time leading surpassing Vince Carter.

ONCE IN A BLUE MOON

Jose Calderon argued vociferously but to no avail. For the first time this season and in recent memory, Calderon was called for an eight-second violation when he failed to get the ball over half court in the eight seconds permitted.

SHOE DILEMMA

Wearing the St. Patrick's Day green uniforms presented problems for a few Raptors. While the majority of the Raptors wore the matching green footwear provided, some opted to go their own route. Jarrett Jack stuck with his blacks while Sonny Weems, who normally sports Chinese brand Peak, switched over for last night's game to a pair of black Nikes.

OUCH

Were it not for the five points rookie Jeff Teague scored, Jamal Crawford's 33 last night would have been the only scoring at all from the Atlanta reserves.
