Bad night on boards for Bosh
Bookmark and Share

MIAMI -- The question made Chris Bosh bristle.

Why only two rebounds last night against the Miami Heat in more than 31 minutes of playing time?

"Because I only got two," the Raptors forward said. "They were boxing out on me. Sometimes it just doesn't come to you, sometimes it does. I won't get stuck on having just two rebounds."

Going into last night, Bosh was third in the NBA this season with an average of 11.9 rebounds a game.

Bosh has made a history of being strong on the boards, and holds the team record for total rebounds with 4,328. His career high for a game is 22, accomplished twice.

"He usually does a lot better," coach Jay Triano said. "I don't know (what happened). I will know better when I watch the tape. He was trying to keep Jermaine (O'Neal) off the glass a little bit."

The last time Bosh had two or fewer rebounds in 30-plus minutes of play was March 6, 2007, at Washington when he had one rebound in 35 minutes.

Will the Chicago Bulls win the championship without Derrick Rose?
  Absolutely
  Not a chance
  They wouldn't win with him
  I don't watch NBA
