TORONTO -- It was no Lazy Sunday for the Raptors.
Hedo Turkoglu finally lived up to his billing as an aggressive playmaker and scorer, finishing with a season-high 23 points to go with six rebounds and five assists, to help the Raptors roll to a workmanlike 101-88 win over the Houston Rockets.
Chris Bosh had 27 points.
The Rockets (13-10) have managed this season without the injured Tracy McGrady and Yao Ming by outworking teams.
The Raptors (11-15) had more pep for the full 48 minutes. That extra energy helped them hold the Rockets to just 37% shooting, compared to Toronto's 50%.
Coach Jay Triano got a lift from his second unit, with Sonny Weems and Amir Johnson being first off the bench with Pops Mensah-Bonsu and Marco Belinelli in the second wave along with Marcus Banks, who spelled Jarrett Jack at point guard.
"Just went with a different rotation tonight," Triano said. "It could be completely different in Miami and Orlando. It's tough to play more than 10 guys."
