INJURY UPDATE

Raptors forwards Marco Belinelli and Antoine Wright returned for last night's game after missing Sunday's game against the Orlando Magic with a sore left groin and sore left ankle respectively. Forward Reggie Evans has yet to play in the regular season because of a left midfoot sprain.

MOMENT OF SILENCE

A moment of silence was held prior to last night's game in honour of Washington Wizards owner Abe Pollin, who passed away yesterday at age 85. Pollin, who also owned the NHL Capitals at one time, changed the name of the Bullets to the Wizards in 1995 because he became increasingly uncomfortable with the violent overtones of the name Bullets.

HOW REFINED

Canadian tennis star Aleksandra Wozniak of Montreal played a little tennis during a break in the second quarter with the Raptor, the club's high-flying mascot. Wozniak is ranked 35th in the world.

TALKING TURKEY

It was Turkish Day in honour of Raptors forward Hedo Turkoglu, prompting Raptors assistant coach Eric Hughes to approach the forward during the warmup and ask: "Does this mean I get a free turkey?" (It's American Thanksgiving tomorrow). A group of fans unveiled a huge Turkish flag in the upper level during the game. Another flashed a sign which read: "We're proud of you."
