Raptors Replay
LAST NIGHT IN PHOENIX

WRIGHT IS WRONG

Antoine Wright's early season battle with the injury bug has taken another turn for the worse. The gritty small forward, whose biggest asset is defending the perimeter, was unable to go last night because of an ankle ailment. So far this season, Wright has hurt his knee and elbow. Wright's unavailability prompted the Raptors to activate combo guard Marcus Banks, a one-time Sun.

SHOTS GALORE

There is no secret to the way the Suns play. They push the ball and heave shots just as quickly. In their game against the Lakers in L.A. last Thursday, Phoenix attempted 104 shots. Last night the Raps held them to just 78.

D-FICIENCY

There's no disputing Andrea Bargnani's ability to light it up from the outside. The seven-footer is so skilled that he'll take defenders off the dribble. But he has to somehow get tougher in the paint defending his man. On Phoenix's first possession, Amare Stoudemire just bullied his way toward the basket and dunked over a hapless Bargnani. Putting a body on an opponent is just as important as beating him to the spot. Bargnani did neither.
