EVANS ON MEND

The Raptors are still without forward Reggie Evans, who hasn't played in the regular season because of a left midfoot strain. He's listed as day-to-day.

"He's much better. He's walking around without the boot now. He's got basketball shoes on," head coach Jay Triano said.

ROAD WARRIORS

The Raptors embark today on a four-game Western swing, beginning tomorrow in L.A. against the Clippers, followed by games in Phoenix (Nov.15), Denver (Nov.17) and Utah (Nov.18). Toronto opened the season with eight of 12 games on the road, all against teams in the West.

THIRST FOR SWIRSK

Former Raps broadcaster Chuck Swirsky was recognized last night as part of the team's 15th anniversary celebrations. The Swirsk was the voice of the Raptors from 1999-2007, before joining the Chicago Bulls broadcasting team this season. The Raps already have paid tribute this season to Charles Oakley and Alvin Williams.

THIRD AND TWO

It was a tough third quarter for Toronto fans. Early in the quarter, a female fan received a ball in the face, courtesy of an accidental kick by a Raptor under the Chicago basket. A few minutes later, another fan sitting courtside took a Brad Miller knee to the chest after the Bulls' forward went flying into the seats trying to keep a ball in play.
