Andrea Bargnani may be ready to come back on Sunday.
Bargnani has missed 11 games following an emergency appendectomy on March 21. He has not been feeling well the past few days and did not practice yesterday, leaving after the annual team photo.
"Right now, I would not expect Andrea to play (tonight)," Raptors head coach Sam Mitchell said yesterday.
The Raps are 9-2 in his absence, with Kris Humphries doing a fine job filling in for the first overall pick in the 2006 NBA draft.
If he returns Sunday, Bargnani will be able to play in three regular-season games to get his timing back and get ready for the post-season.
Get your playoff tickets
The Raptors announced yesterday that a limited number of game tickets, singles and pairs, will go on sale tomorrow beginning at noon for the team's first two home playoff games.
Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster only by phone at 416-872-5000 or online at www.raptors.com. Tickets will not be sold through Air Canada Centre's box office for first day sales. There is a limit of four tickets per game.
Learn as you go
Having participated in 54 playoff games, Raptors centre Rasho Nesterovic knows it's incumbent on him to share those experiences with his younger teammates and get them as prepared as he can for playoff basketball. But knowing that is a lot easier than actually getting his message across.
"You can tell them, but until they experience for themselves, they'll never really know," Nesterovic said. "It's much more serious. Every ball, every rebound, every mistake can decide the game. The main thing is to stay focussed. You can win the first game or win the first two games, lose the first game or lose the first two game and still be able to come back and win the series."
