Tucker doing well in D-league

Rookie forward P.J. Tucker is settling in nicely with the Colorado 14ers of the NBA Development League.

In his third game with the 14ers, a 95-90 win over Austin on Tuesday, Tucker scored 15 points and pulled in five boards.

In three games in the NBADL, he is averaging 25 minutes, 9.0 points and 4.7 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Toronto native Denham Brown, drafted by the Seattle SuperSonics and playing for the Tulsa 66ers of the D League, is eighth overall in scoring (19.7) and also in the top 20 in rebounds.

VEGAS BOUND

Raptors forward Chris Bosh remains second among Eastern Conference forwards after the fourth returns of 2007 NBA All-Star balloting. Forward LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers leads all players in the East and centre Yao Ming of Houston Rockets leads in overall voting.

Bosh made his first All-Star game appearance last season after being selected as a reserve for the Eastern Conference team.

James leads all Eastern Conference players with 1,775,281 votes, followed by Miami's Dwayne Wade (1,371,850).

Bosh (684,620) is second to James among Eastern Conference forwards. The New Jersey Nets' Vince Carter (1,002,709) is second to Wade among East guards.

Yao leads all players with 1,775,413 votes. The Minnesota Timberwolves' Kevin Garnett leads all Western Conference forwards with 1,068,168 votes. The Lakers' Kobe Bryant (1,536,556) and the Houston Rockets' Tracy McGrady (1,331,511) lead all Western Conference guards.

AROUND THE RIM

The Raptors flew into Boston in the wee hours of Thursday morning after departing Milwaukee following a 90-77 win against the Bucks at the Bradley Center on Wednesday night, and did not hold a practice yesterday. Instead, the players worked out and lifted weights at their hotel ... Forward Pape Sow rejoined the team yesterday after getting a clean bill of health on his injured neck. He is expected to resume full practices tomorrow ... No Raptor was among the top 15-selling jerseys in the NBA. The top jersey belongs to Bryant, followed by Wade and James. Canada's Steve Nash of the Phoenix Suns was sixth, while Carter was seventh.
