LAS VEGAS -- Third-year forward Pape Sow remained in a local hospital yesterday, undergoing tests for a lower neck injured suffered in practice on Tuesday.

According to head coach Sam Mitchell, Sow will not be able to compete in the NBA Summer League, which begins tonight at the COX Pavilion, and will have to wear a neck brace for the next few weeks. As of last night, he still was undergoing tests.

Sow fell during practice at the team's free agent and rookie camp on Tuesday and hit his neck on another player's leg. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital for tests and evaluation.

The native of Dakar, Senegal, who started 25 games for the Raptors last season, averaged 3.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 0.45 blocked shots in 42 games last season.
