In the NBA, size does matter, especially when a team has length on the perimeter and an offence that runs through its bigs.

The Indiana Pacers were expected to advance to the Eastern final because everyone expected the mercurial New York Knicks to somehow find a way to implode.

It played out in the semifinal, heightened by New York’s failures in the fourth quarter in Game 6, a stretch where Carmelo Anthony basically disappeared, a period where the Knicks’ lack of depth was exposed.
