Raptors' Lowry buying into winning ways
By Mike Ganter, QMI Agency

The Raptors' Kyle Lowry is averaging 16 points a game since coming back from injury.

Kyle Lowry is two games into his comeback and the transition has been silky smooth.

There has been no evidence of any pouting over losing his starting role to Jose Calderon.

In fact, Lowry has been downright happy in his role coming off the bench every time that situation is raised in conversation.

Credit the player himself obviously, but also head coach Dwane Casey, who has got not just Lowry but others as well to buy into a team concept that seemed to be missing earlier in the year.

Lowry’s return could have easily upset all the positive strides the team made over a 5-2 run without him in the lineup. But Lowry saw how the team responded with Jose Calderon leading the starters out on the floor and he wasn’t about to be the one to derail a winning approach.
