MAKING THE TRIP

Not that it means his return is imminent, but Reggie Evans, still out with a left midfoot sprain, is travelling with the team on this three-game road swing. The Raptors have not had injured players travelling with the team unless there is a chance that they could play. Evans is with them in order to get the foot that has given him problems re-evaluated. Head coach Jay Triano also wants him getting used to travelling with the team. Evans says there is still pain in the foot, but he's doing some shooting now, minus the jumping part.

LESS IS MO

Toronto fan favourite Morris Peterson is still the same old Mo, there's just a little less of him these days. "I'm back down to my Michigan State playing weight," Peterson announced to a few familiar faces before last night's game. That would be 212 pounds, down from as much as 224 last season. Peterson is starting again this season after the departure of Rasual Butler.

CHEMISTRY TEST

The Hornets, much like the Raptors, are still working on developing some chemistry on the floor after numerous changes to their starting five and roster. Their biggest change is working Emeka Okafor in for Tyson Chandler. "Nothing against Emeka, but Tyson is just a better athlete as far as catching the ball and finishing above the rim," Antoine Wright said.
