Raps, Grizzlies replay
Last night in Memphis

ANSWERS THE CALL

Allen Iverson is expected to make his Grizzlies debut on Monday when Memphis travels to Sacramento. A partially torn hamstring has made A.I. an unwitting spectator.

It'll be interesting to see how Iverson, a 10-time all-star and former league MVP, meshes with a young Grizzlies team.

It'll also be interesting to see how Iverson and Zach Randolph co-exist. Iverson went first overall in 1996, the year the Raptors won the draft lottery but couldn't select first because of an expansion agreement.

GAY OLD TIMES

It seems likely Rudy Gay is heading toward restricted free agency with today's deadline to extend deals looming. On Thursday, teammates O.J. Mayo, Mike Conley and Darrell Arthur were extended, the same day Raptors extended Marco Belinelli's rookie deal. Raptors head coach Jay Triano oversaw an Olympic development camp in Las Vegas this past summer, a showcase that featured both Gay and Mayo. Gay has an outside chance of playing for the U.S. at next year's world championship in Turkey.

NUMBERS GAME

Following last night's tip, the Raptors were one of four teams to sport a losing record against the Grizzlies (13-15), joining Charlotte, Washington and the Clippers. Since their relocation to Memphis in 2001, the Grizzlies are 6-2 against Toronto on their home floor.
