Usually when someone is tasered in the butt during an altercation with police, they’re not too apologetic.

But not former NBA player and first round pick, Donte Greene.

Greene was arrested over the weekend by Miami Beach police on charges of disorderly conduct and battery in South Beach.

According to the arrest affidavit released by Miami Beach Police on Monday, Greene says he was defending his younger brother, Dmetrique during a fight with St. Louis Rams lineback Jo-Lonn Dunbar, moments later police stepped in and tasered Donte in the rear end.

"I am sorry [officer] but this guy has been after me for years since I got into the NBA," Greene said, according to the affidavit. "He was beating my brother, and I had to do what I did."

Dunbar, however, told police he was only defending himself from the Greene brothers.

According to the report, it all began after a “verbal altercation” outside of Club Dream.
