Is it all a con, or is LeBron James seriously considering a return to Cleveland?

Thankfully, we should know soon, with the NBA moratorium period coming to a close on Thursday, but, until then, the rumour mill will be worked to the point of exhaustion.

On Monday, it was all about James and the team that drafted him No. 1 overall back in 2003.

Cleveland believes James is listening to its pitch — according to multiple reports — and could leave Miami to return close to his Akron, Ohio home.

Some of the reports had James’ agent, Rich Paul and perhaps his wife and other friends vocally encouraging him to go back to the Cavaliers, an organization he famously spurned by bolting for Miami, where he won two titles and went to the Finals each of his four years there.

Cleveland has a talented young roster, led by Kyrie Irving and Vaughan’s Andrew Wiggins and will have cap space next summer.
