The ripples from what went down on Tuesday at the NBA’s draft lottery will stretch to every corner of the league.

Toronto is no different. What does the lottery outcome mean for the Raptors?

On the surface, Eastern Conference squads getting the top four picks is bad news for any East team hoping to hang on to its status as a contender for home court advantage in the first round of the playoffs. These high picks should help Cleveland, Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Orlando bridge the gap a bit, but they still are not on the same level as the Raptors ... yet.
