HOUSTON - One of LeBron James or Kevin Durant is going to win the NBA’s MVP award this season. But the third guy in that race, Chris Paul made a major statement at Sunday’s all-star game.

The Los Angeles Clippers maestro orchestrated the West beautifully and the engine that has driven the surprising Clippers, drove the West stars to a third-straight victory in this battle.

Paul had 15 assists – nearly twice as many as the next-best setup man in the contest – and 19 points in the 143-138 victory, earning game MVP honours.
