Mixed emotions for Chris Bosh
Booing by Raps fans bothers Heat star a bit but he uses it to get fired up against ex-club

TORONTO - There was a joke making the rounds at the Air Canada Centre on Sunday afternoon, something along the lines of: If Rudy Gay develops in the way the Raptors hope he will, some day he too will get booed at the ACC.

You know the story. The Raptors have basically had two big-name, star players in their history — Vince Carter and Chris Bosh — and both get booed pretty seriously whenever they return to Toronto with their respective teams. It’s been 21/2 years since Bosh left town for the Miami Heat in a sign and trade and he still hears the wrath of the Toronto faithful. He certainly did on Sunday afternoon as the Heat pulled away in the second half to defeat the Raptors 100-85.

“Yeah, I’m a little surprised,” said Bosh, who still holds many Raptors team records, including total points (10,275) and rebounds (4,776). “But, you know, they pay their money, they can do what they want. I hope they just remember the good times.”
