Lakers' Bynum, Suns' Brooks suspended

New York, N.Y. - Los Angeles Lakers center Andrew Bynum and Phoenix Suns guard Aaron Brooks have both been suspended by the NBA for separate incident's occurred on March 18, the league announced Sunday.
Bynum has been assessed a two-game suspension for a flagrant foul, penalty two call against Minnesota forward Michael Beasley. Bynum was called for the hard foul with 6:16 remaining in the fourth period of LA's 106-98 victory over the Timberwolves.
Bynum will serve his suspension during Sunday's contest with Portland as well as a visit from the Suns on March 22.
Brooks was given a one-game suspension for throwing a ball towards a game official, hitting him in the leg. The infraction occurred with 7:46 remaining in the fourth period of Phoenix's 108-97 victory over Golden State. Brooks will serve his suspension in the Suns' game at the Clippers on Sunday.
