Celtics sign guard Arroyo
By Sports Network
The Boston Celtics have signed guard Carlos Arroyo.
Per team policy, no terms of the deal were announced.
Arroyo was released by Miami earlier in the week to make room on the roster for Mike Bibby, who was signed after being released by the Washington Wizards.
He had played in 49 games -- 42 as a starter -- for the Heat this season and was averaging 5.6 points and 2.0 assists over an average of 20 minutes per contest.
The 31-year-old has complied career averages of 6.7 points and 3.1 helpers in 554 games, including 190 starts, for the Nuggets, Raptors, Jazz, Pistons, Magic and Heat.
