Evans: Bosh a different dude
By MIKE GANTER, QMI Agency

TORONTO - Reggie Evans doesn’t have a mean bone in his body off the court.

Nor does the Raptors injured big man possess a built-in filter that might keep him from being the most interesting interview in the Raptors locker room.

So when the topic of a personality drain was broached yesterday as it related to Chris Bosh’s departure, Evans was his normal direct self.

“No disrespect to Chris but Chris don’t talk. He don’t talk. He’s like ... he don’t talk.”

When it was pointed out that Bosh talked after every game with the media, Evans shook his head and muttered as much to himself, “I didn’t even know he was in the locker room.

“I’m not knocking CB at all,” Evans reiterated, “but Chris is different. He’s a different dude.”

Evans said the personality within the locker room , as far as he is concerned, at an all time high this year.

“We just got a lot of young guys who have to learn the game,” he said. “That’s the difference. Everybody thinks their cute on this team, but that’s all part of everyone having fun with each other.”

“Even though we are going through a lot of ups and downs from a basketball standpoint, we are still having fun with each other,” Evans said. “We are still enjoying each other’s company - personality-wise we are on a whole other level this year compared to last year.”
