Celtics' Pierce to have MRI on foot

Boston, MA – Boston Celtics forward Paul Pierce will have an MRI on his ailing left foot on Monday following a rare poor shooting performance against the Miami Heat.
Pierce played nearly 40 minutes in Sunday's contest and missed all 10 of his field goal attempts. It was the first time since December 13, 2000 the All- Star forward did not make a field goal in a game.
Pierce said after Boston's 85-82 win that his foot has been hurting him for a week, and that he also aggravated his sprained right hand that was injured in practice on Saturday.
