NEW YORK -- New Jersey Nets head coach Avery Johnson has been fined $25,000 by the NBA for improper conduct toward an official, NBA Executive Vice President Stu Jackson announced Friday.
Johnson was ejected with 7:47 remaining during the third quarter of the Nets' 106-92 loss to Philadelphia on Wednesday after recording his second technical foul.
Johnson received his second technical while arguing with official Brent Barnaky over what he thought was a 'no call' on Sixers forward Elton Brand.
