Ankle injury forces Heat's James to sit

Denver, CO - LeBron James missed his first game in a Miami Heat uniform Thursday against the Denver Nuggets due to an ankle injury.
James suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Clippers. He stayed in the game and finished with 27 points, eight rebounds and six assists in the 111-105 setback, which snapped Miami's nine-game winning streak.
James Jones got the starting nod in James' place.
