WASHINGTON D.C. - Washington Wizards forwards Andray Blatche and JaVale McGee have been suspended for Sunday's game at San Antonio for conduct detrimental to the team.
The two were involved in an altercation outside of a local night club early Friday morning, according to the Washington Post.
There are varying reports as to how involved the disagreement was but it was apparently serious enough, according to the paper, to prompt general manager Ernie Grunfeld to conduct a further investigation.
Grunfeld then reportedly came to the conclusion that the incident was worthy of the two players being sat down for one game.
Blatche is averaging a team-high 16.8 points and 7.7 rebounds in 23 games while McGee is posting 9.2 points and a team-best 8.3 boards in 27 contests.
