SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Sacramento Kings point guard Tyreke Evans underwent a precautionary MRI that revealed mild plantar fasciitis in his left foot, though he is not expected to miss any time.

The MRI also confirmed there is no stress fracture in the foot, which will continue to be enclosed in a walking boot when Evans is not playing.

The reigning Rookie of the Year has not missed a game due to the injury, though he played just 27 minutes and scored eight points in Wednesday's win over Washington.

Through 19 games this season, Evans' numbers are slightly down from his 2009-10 campaign, averaging 17.1 points, 5.4 assists and 4.7 rebounds.
