Suns' Childress breaks finger
By Sports Network

PHOENIX -- Phoenix Suns forward Josh Childress broke his right index finger in Tuesday's exhibition game with Golden State and will be sidelined for at least one week.

Childress suffered the injury when he was fouled on a drive to the basket midway through the fourth quarter. He stayed in the game and will be re- evaluated after a week's rest.

The Suns acquired the 6-foot-8 Stanford product in a sign-and-trade deal with the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for a future second-round draft pick.

Childress played with Olympiacos Greece over the past two seasons after spending four seasons with the Hawks from 2004-08. He was made the sixth overall pick in 2004 by Atlanta, and over 285 NBA games, averaged 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds.

Will the Chicago Bulls win the championship without Derrick Rose?
  Absolutely
  Not a chance
  They wouldn't win with him
  I don't watch NBA
