Dallas - Nine-time All-Star forward Dirk Nowitzki signed his contract with the Dallas Mavericks on Monday.

The deal, which is reportedly worth $80 million over four years, allows Nowitzki to remain with the team he has played for since the start of his NBA career in 1998. It's also believed to include a no-trade clause.

Nowitzki has been the team's most productive player over the last decade. Last season, the 32-year-old averaged 25.0 points, 7.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 81 games -- the 10th straight season in which he's averaged over 20 points and seven rebounds.

For his career, the Wurzburg, Germany native has per-game averages of 22.9 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists. He was the league's MVP in 2007.
