HILL WARNS OWENS

- When Grant Hill of the Orlando Magic heard that Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens would be having ankle surgery in Baltimore, Hill cringed. The procedure was performed by Dr. Mark Myerson, the same doctor who operated on Hill's notoriously bad ankle in 2000 and 2001.

Knowing Owens is putting his future in the hands of Myerson does not sit well with Hill. "(Myerson) is putting it out there that he was the one who got Grant Hill back, and we all know that wasn't the case," Hill said. "I wasted my time with him." Hill eventually left Myerson's care, had a more involved procedure performed in 2003, and had appeared in all but one of the Magic's games this season, heading into play last night.

NO BULL

- Here's what Damon Stoudamire of the Portland Trail Blazers had to say after his club was defeated by the Chicago Bulls recently: "Chicago runs the best (offensive) sets I've seen all year. They have great spacing on the floor. They never allow you to be where you want defensively. It looks like they're taking on the personality of their coach." Bulls coach Scott Skiles offered a backhanded compliment in response: "I didn't know (Stoudamire) was that aware. You never know which players are aware of what exactly is going on. We'll take it as a compliment, I guess. And I will have a higher opinion of Damon's mentality."

Will the Chicago Bulls win the championship without Derrick Rose?
  Absolutely
  Not a chance
  They wouldn't win with him
  I don't watch NBA
