- DH Dustin Majewski set a club record by homering in four consecutive games for double-A New Hampshire. One of his homers was a walk-off, a two-out shot in the ninth Tuesday in a 3-1 win. Lefty David Purcey pitched seven innings, allowing one run and Jordan De Jong picked up the win. The homer sent 4,810 New Hampshire fans home happy on Franco-American night. The Canadian national anthem was sung in French, parts of the game were announced in French, while Michel Tetu, deputy consul general of Canada to New England, and Dick Charpentier, president of the Franco-American Centre, threw pucks instead of baseballs to the plate.

- 3B Luis Figueroa had four hits, including two doubles, and Adam Lind had three hits, with a pair of doubles, as triple-A Syracuse beat Ottawa 5-2. Lee Gronkiewicz picked up his 17th save. 2B Russ Adams is hitting .330.

- OF Dave Smith tied a franchise record at New Hampshire, hitting homers in three consecutive games against Erie. Lind, now at Syracuse, did the same earlier this season.

Smith hit .450 (9-for-20) on a road swing to Erie and Akron, earning him Eastern League player-of-the-week honours. He had four homers for 10 RBIs and is batting .251 with 18 homers and 63 RBIs.

- 1B Josh Kreuzer homered and knocked in three runs for single-A Dunedin in a 6-2 victory over St. Lucie while Eric Fowler upped his record to 9-10, fanning seven.
