CHICAGO - They say you can’t go home again but Mark Buehrle may dispute that.

When the veteran left-hander takes the hill Saturday night at U.S. Cellular Field it will mark the 191st start that he has made here but the very first in a uniform other than that of the Chicago White Sox.

A member of the White Sox from 2000-2011, Buehrle signed as a free agent with the Miami Marlins in December of 2011, pitched one year there and then was part of the big trade with the Blue Jays prior to the 2013 season.

He has faced the White Sox on two occasions, in 2013 and earlier this season on June 29, but each time it occurred at Rogers Centre, Buehrle fashioning a 1-1 record.

Saturday he faces them for the first time in a stadium he called home for 12 years, where he forged a 90-54 record and a 3.71 ERA.

“I’m sure it will be different,” Buehrle said Friday of what he expects the experience to be like.
