The Blue Jays have received nothing but devastating news the past few weeks what with all the injuries to their position players, specifically Brett Lawrie (fractured finger), Edwin Encarnacion (right quad) and Adam Lind (fractured right foot).

Initially it was believed that the injury to Lind would sideline him six to eight weeks but on Friday he received a second examination in North Carolina and the result is he will be out for two to three weeks.

Lind will first wear a protective boot for five days and go from there.
