ARLINGTON, TX - In the battle for survival between Kevin Pillar and Anthony Gose, the Blue Jays are winning the war.

With Colby Rasmus on the disabled list with a hamstring issue, both Pillar and Gose have been called up and both were in the lineup Saturday night.

The two young outfielders, who are battling to stick, were instrumental in the Jays pulling out a 4-2 victory that enabled them to take the first two legs of the three-game series against the Texas Rangers and extend their winning streak here to six games.

On Friday, they blanked the Rangers 2-0 on a complete-game shutout from Drew Hutchison.

In the eighth on Saturday with the game tied 2-2, Pillar shot a ball into the right-field corner for a one-out double, his second hit of the game.
