TORONTO - John McDonald, one of the most popular players to pull on a Blue Jays uniform, was back at Rogers Centre on Friday as a member of the Los Angeles Angels.

McDonald spent seven seasons with the Blue Jays (2005-2011) and ever since he has been on the move.

After he left the Jays he was with the Arizona Diamondbacks for a season and a half and then in 2013 he was on a baseball Odyssey. He moved through five organizations -- Arizona, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Philadelphia, and finally Boston.

Overall, he has played for seven organizations over 15 seasons and yet has never lost his enthusiasm for the game, even this season at age 39.
