The Blue Jays acquired their second catcher in as many days after trading reliever Brad Lincoln to the Philadelphia Phillies for Erik Kratz and left-handed pitcher Rob Rasmussen.

Kratz, 33, who joins free-agent signee Dioner Navarro behind the plate in Toronto, played 68 games with the Phillies this past season, batting .213 with nine homers and 26 RBIs. Kratz, originally drafted by the Blue Jays in the 29th round in 2002, made his big-league debut in 2010.

Lincoln made 22 appearances in relief for the Jays in 2013, going 1-2 with a 3.98 ERA.

Rasmussen has yet to appear in the majors. He split 2013 between double-A and triple-A.
